The Karnataka government will provide financial assistance of Rs.2,000 per month to eligible women from August 17, 2023.

- Women should belong to Antyodaya, BPL, and APL families.
- Women marked as the head of the household in Antyodaya, BPL, and APL ration cards issued by the government will get the benefit.
- Only one woman in a family will get the benefit of the scheme.
- Women government employees are not eligible to get the benefits of the scheme.
- Women taxpayers are not eligible to get the benefits of the scheme.
- If the husband of that woman who is the head of the family is paying income tax or filing a GST return, then the woman of that family will not get the benefit of the scheme.

Eligible women can register online for the scheme by following the procedure given below:
- Visit the Seva Sindhu Guarantee Scheme Portal.
- Click on the option ‘Griha Laxmi Yojana’.
- Click on the option ‘Click here to apply’.
- Fill in the required information for the scheme and upload the documents.
- Click on the submit button and note down the application number for future reference.
