Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2023
The eligibility criteria for CTET 2023 are as follows:
For Primary Stage (Classes I-V):
- Candidates must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (with a minimum of 50% marks) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Applicants must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (with a minimum of 45% marks) in accordance with the NCTE, Regulations, 2002.
- Aspirants must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 4 years of a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution (with at least 50% marks).
- Candidates must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Special Education(with at least 50% marks) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with at least 50% marks) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution.
For Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII):
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation and also must have cleared or still pursuing the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with minimum 50% marks) and passed or appeared in the first year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation (with a minimum of 45% marks) and passed or appeared in 1 year of bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations in Education (B.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared the Graduation of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared the Graduation of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Candidates must have cleared or appeared in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Candidates must have cleared the Graduation in B.Ed. Programs recognized by the NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

CTET 2023 Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the CTET examination.

CTET Admit Card 2023
The CTET 2023 admit card will be available for download on the official website. Candidates must carry the admit card to the examination center and a valid photo ID proof.
CTET Result and Certificate
The CTET 2023 result will be declared on the official website. Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks will be awarded the CTET certificate, which is valid for seven years from the date of declaration of the result.
